Social anxiety is a very common problem, in children and in adults. These are very shy and closed people who are afraid to talk to other people, they can be successful and talented but this fear prevents them from developing and progressing in life. Through therapy we neutralize social anxiety, and allow people to feel more relaxed around other people.
Example: 12-year-old Jasmine moved from elementary school to middle school. While in elementary school she did not have a single girlfriend, so much so that she did not have a single girlfriend to invite to her bat mitzvah celebration. Jasmine underwent treatment to neutralize emotional barriers during the summer, before starting the new school, when the school year began Jasmine Yashar was socially integrated, was surrounded by friends, the phone kept ringing and she had new friends to invite to the bat mitzvah celebration.
